Brittney achieved the state’s highest score in the All-USA Community College Academic Team competition. Judges consider academic accomplishments, leadership, activities and most importantly, how students extend their intellectual talents beyond the classroom. New Century Scholars are the highest scoring students in each state. Each scholar will receive a $2,000 scholarship!
SC Student Brittney Steele named New Century Scholar
Sheridan College student and current Sheridan College Foundation Student Partner Brittney Steele has been named a 2017 New Century Scholar!
Brittney graduated from Sheridan College with an Associates degree in 2016 and is currently in her second year in the SC Dental Hygiene program.
Brittney has taken full advantage of all opportunities open to her at Sheridan College and has earned several other awards and recognition, including making the Phi Theta Kappa Wyoming All-State Academic Team, Rotary Club Student of the Month, and Recognition for Research.
