Chance Ames Wins National Title at CNFR

Sheridan College student Chance Ames finished out his Sheridan College Rodeo career in style with a national title in bareback bronc riding at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper on Saturday night (June15). He rode well throughout the competition, and had accumulated a great score ahead of Saturday’s ride, when he placed 3rd in the final round. His score was high enough to keep him in first place overall, and he netted 330 team points toward the Sheridan College team score. Sheridan College’s Coby Johnson finished in third place in bull riding, scoring 240 team points for the Generals. The Generals finished in 4th place as a team. Go Generals!
