The Sheridan College Foundation awards Faculty Staff and Opportunity Grants to faculty or staff in the Sheridan College community in need of financial aid. These grants are funded by generous donors to the Sheridan College Foundation. There is a fall (Faculty Staff Grant) and a spring (Opportunity Grant) application process that must be completed in order to be considered for an award.
Sheridan College Foundation is pleased to announce the application process is open for the 2016-2017 Opportunity Grants. The maximum grant award is $2000. The total amount available for granting is $14,655. Eligible applicants include faculty and staff employed at Sheridan College or Sheridan College in Johnson County.
If you are interested, please submit your application (available on the portal) by email to Dee Davis, [email protected] and “cc” to your supervisor and vice president. Your application must be approved by your supervisor and Vice-President to be considered for awarding.
There is no deadline for this grant. Funds will be awarded on a merit basis until the money runs out.
Here are some tips for improving your chances of selection:
- Review and adhere to “Application Guidelines”.
- Have your application proofed for grammar and spelling.
- Before submitting your application, please make sure it is complete.
- Do not submit an application for a project that has already been started.
