Thickman Faculty Lecture: “Mongolia: Half a World Away or Right Next Door?”
Mae Smith, Sheridan College Director of Agriculture, will present a lecture exploring Mongolia’s unique wildlife, including the Przewalskis wild horse and conservation efforts. She will discuss the connections between Mongolian livestock grazing, land use, and the challenges faced by Wyoming ranchers. Experience a a photographic journey through Hustai National Park and surrounding areas to discover what makes Mongolia truly unique, and see Mongolia’s rich culture through its food, traditions, transportation and everyday life.
